Pebble Brook at Willow Bend, Woodbridge and Stone Creek Estates are all great family-friendly neighborhoods North of Dallas. I have compiled information here about the cities, areas, schools and listings, so you can see for yourself why these would be awesome places to live if you are considering a move to a suburb North of Dallas.
Pebble Brook at Willow Bend in Plano, a suburb of Dallas. Plano has been named as one of the “Best Places To Live” in the United States by Money Magazine and has been designated as "America's Safest City" by Forbes Magazine in both 2010 and 2011. Most recently, Plano topped the WalletHub list of 2014 Best Cities for Families. They compared 150 of the largest cities in the United States based on 31 factors, and Plano came out #1 on the list.
Pebble Brook at Willow Bend is an upscale yet warm and friendly neighborhood located close to the Dallas North Tollway and the President George Bush Turnpike and is bounded on the North and West by the Glen Eagles Golf Course.
According to the Pebble Brook HOA there is an active social calendar of events available throughout the year with highlights being the annual Halloween Block Party and the annual Holiday Party. You may also join neighbors for a Mystery Lunch, an evening of Ladies Night Out (LNO), or an interesting book discussion at Book Club. Food lovers enjoy friendly conversation and fine food at our Supper Club get-togethers. Many of the ladies enjoy Morning Coffees with an occasional guest speaker and of course, the annual Holiday Cookie Exchange. The Social Committee works diligently to bring neighbors closer together.

Woodbridge in Wylie, a 45-minute drive northeast of Dallas, Wylie is between Lake Ray Hubbard and Lavon Lake, which both provide plenty of places to swim, bike, hike, fish and camp. Wylie’s public schools have strong ratings and it has the largest little league baseball team in the world. When you are not outside, the whole family can find something to do at the Wylie Recreation Center, which includes a climbing wall, fitness facilities and a variety of art, dance, video game design and martial arts classes.
As described by the Visit Woodbridge website the only golf course community of its kind in a secluded corner of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. An 18-hole golf course open to the public, creeks and lakes, wooded trails, parks, and swimming pools. The community offer families a true sense of luxury living. Almost all of Wylie ISD schools rate above an 8.

Stone Creek Estates in Rockwall, also a suburb of Dallas. Rockwall is the county seat of Rockwall County, which is the third wealthiest county in the state of Texas. It sits on the east shore of Lake Ray Hubbard and is conveniently located close to entertainment, shopping and restaurants.
The Stone Creek Connection describes it as nestled off of 205 and Featherstone, this community is just minutes North of downtown Rockwall and Lake Ray Hubbard. Another great fact is that Stone Creek is the only Master Planned community available for new home builds in Rockwall.
